Comprehensive assessment conducted by experienced professionals
Our team of experienced medical professionals will conduct a comprehensive assessment and following multidisciplinary discussion will provide you with the report outlining diagnosis and recommendations for further treatment and support.
ADHD assessment includes:
- An initial consultation by telephone to help us to fully understand your current needs. This clinician will be your named contact who you will support you throughout the diagnostic process
- Our team want to understand how you or your child presents in different environments and in case of a child assessment, we will contact your their school to request details of strengths and needs
- As part of the assessment process, we will require to meet you or your child to help us to understand historic and current areas of need and concerns.
- A face to face meeting with you, or in case of child assessment, your child will take place at our clinic, at your home or at school.
- The team of professionals will meet as part of multi-disciplinary meeting to discuss the findings of the information gathered as part of the assessment
- An experienced clinician will contact you to discuss the findings and the recommendations we have made as part of the assessment.
- You will be provided with a draft assessment report for your comments.
- Once we take into consideration your comments, a final report will be send to you.
- The report will include recommendations for treatment, support, and potentially further assessments e.g., full sensory assessment, occupational therapy assessment.
